Old Document Review 'The prophecy of St Brigid of Sweden'

This old document forms part of the Mirabilis liber prophecy collection which was published in 1522, however this was originally written by St Brigid.  This prophecy is somewhat similar to the prophecy by Joachim of Fiore, in the sense that once again the 'barque of Peter' is once again referred to.

Although Joachim seen the 'barque of Peter' as the Roman Church, in this prophecy it is referred to only as the Church, which of course refer to any church.  However there are some stark clues given, it is said of 'summoning the proud Germans against his Church', could the Church being referred to, be the Jews and their persecution by the Germans during World War 2?

Once again the prophecy looks into the past in order to foretell the future, in the case of the Germans, it refers to the moment of the past of the story of Samson, which as I will quickly remind you, is about a guy who had heaps of strength but his secret to the strength was his hair, which was discovered by his lover and then he was captured, yet his hair grew back bit by bit and he brought his revenge upon his captives.  So here the Germans are seeing to have had a large strength but an event will lead to them being stripped of this strength (the aftermath of World War 1) yet their strength grew back slowly 'the seven hairs of Samson with which the head of the German nation is adorned'; so because the Germans were weakened, it gave rise to a new leader, a new head of the country
which of course can be interpreted as Hitler and World War 2.
