Elijah (est.875-848 B.C.)

Elijah was a prophet from Tishbe in Gilead, he went to Ahab in Samaria and declared a drought in the name of God.  He lived in a creek where birds brough him food, until he was instructed to go to Zarephath.  A widow gave him food but her son died, and Elijah brought him back to life. (similar story to that of Elisha?).

Elijah is sent back to Ahab after three years to say that it will once again rain, but Ahab has been searching for him, many prophets had been chased or killed (this is where Obadiah had saved over a hundred)

Elijah tells Ahab to call all his prophets of Baal to a meeting on Mount Carmel where he challenges them to call their god to light a fire to cook a bull.  They failed and he didn't so they were all killed as false prophets. Then the rain returned.

Ahab's wife sent Elijah a death threat so he fleed to Beersheba in Judah, angels provided him with food and water and he went to Mount Sinai to speak with God.  There God revealed himself with fire wind and earthquakes, and he is instructed to appoint a new King and a new prophet to replace him(Elisha)

Elijah later foretells the death of Ahab.  Elijah and Elisha travel from Gilgal to Bethel, then to Jericho, then to Jordan.  Elisha asks Elijah for "double portion of thy spirit", and is told it will be given if he watches him ascend to heaven.

Marie Julie Jahenny (1850-1941)

Marie's home in Blain

She was born on Feb12th in Blain, France.  She was the eldest of five children, a large peasant family, and later joined the Franciscan Third Order. She also reported apparitions through which she received prophecies about the end of the world, punishment for the sins of the people, the destruction of Paris through civil war, and the coming of Antichrist.
At the age of twenty-three she fell ill and became closer to death, where she claimed to have been given a choice to live on, but only if she bore the stigmata sign, which from that moment appeared and stayed on her body as well as other signs until her death.  According to the testimony of witnesses, she experienced supernatural attacks from the devil, had the gift of prophecy and miracles, the miracles varied from being able to tell holy bread from normal bread, being able to see into the past of relics and even the ability to levitate.
Marie-Julie predicted numerous chastisements for sin that would fall first on France then spread to the rest of the world. These include: earthquakes, unprecedented destruction through storms, failed harvests, unknown plagues that would spread rapidly plus the cures for them, a "Blood Rain" that would fall for seven weeks, civil war in France that apparently would be started by conspirators in the government, the persecution of the Catholic Church with the total closure of all churches and religious houses(some could claim that this is currently in progress with the church being brought down by the behavior of its own priests), persection and slaughter of Christians, the destruction of Paris, a Two Day period of Darkness that would come circa a month before the Three Days of Darkness. The coming of the Great Monarch would also be announced by signs in the sky. She also had visions of the Angelic Pontiff who would reign at the same time of the Great Monarch, and that both these great leaders were destined to restore the Catholic Church

Old Document Review 'The prophecies of Joannes Vatiguerro'

There are three seperate manuscipts in the Mirabilis liber that are said to originate from this author, but published as a whole with the rest of the collection in Mirabilis liber in 1522, so the original prophecies would have existed before this date.

To be honest there is a huge amount of material in these prophecies, and many of them can be referenced against the prophecies of Nostradamus, in a sense proving that he had this book in his vast library of prophecy books. However there are a number of events that are foretold that have since come to pass since 1522, below I have listed a few:
-the plot against the King of France in 1503
-the capture of King Francis I during the Battle of Pavia in 1525
-the massive earthquake of 1556 in China which claimed 800,000 lives
-the French Revolution (1789-1799)
-the consolidation of Spain after the invasion of Aragon by Philip V in 1707

There is also a number of prophecies given in these manuscripts which can be seen as talking about the end times, again I have listed a few below
-frightening earthquakes in many places
-food production shall diminish
-the sea will rage
-the air will be contaminated
-two moons will be seen at the same time
-an unspeakable plague
